1a  撇棄天上榮耀，
主降世為人，
甘願在地上
被嘲笑羞辱，
Emptied of His Glory;
God became a man,
To walk on earth
in ridicule and shame.

1b  君王願變作僕人，
牧人變作羔羊，
甘願背負憂慮，
悲傷，痛苦。
A ruler, yet a servant;
A Shepherd, yet a Lamb;
A man of sorrows,
agony and pain.

1*  祂是主，祂是主！
祂已從死裏復活，惟祂是主！
萬膝要跪拜，萬口要承認：
耶穌基督是主！
He is Lord! He is Lord!
He is risen from the dead,
And He is Lord! Ev’ry knee shall bow,
Ev’ry tongue confess that
Jesus Christ is Lord!

2a  謙卑但被拒絕，
被蔑視擊打，
人子耶穌在
十架上被釘。
Humbled and rejected,
Beaten and despised;
Upon the cross
the Son of God was slain.

2b  就像無罪的羔羊，
被獻在祭壇上，
但祂的死亡
卻帶來救贖。
Just like a lamb to slaughter,
A sinless sacrifice;
But, by His death
His loss became our gain.

被擊倒拆毀，
困鎖救主巨石
已被輥開。
Satan’s forces crumbled
like a mighty wall;
The Stone that held Him in
was rolled aside.

3b  榮耀生命的救主
已經得勝復活，
今天上地下
齊高聲呼喊。
The prince of Life in glory
was lifted over all;
Now earth and heaven
echo with the cry.
