至尊主，允三件事：
更深刻認識你，
Day by day, day by day;
sovereign Lord,
three things I pray:
To see You more clearly,

更緊緊跟隨你。
每一天 。
Love You more dearly,
Follow You more nearly
day by day.

2a  每一天所度過每一時刻，
我得著能力勝過試煉；
我倚靠天父週詳的供應，
我不用再恐慌與掛念。
Day by day,
and with each passing moment,
Strength I find to meet my trials here.
Trusting in my Father’s wise bestowment,
I’ve no cause for worry or for fear.

2b  祂的心極仁慈無可測度，
祂每天都有最好安排。
不論憂或喜祂慈愛顯明，
勞苦中祂賜安泰。
He whose heart is kind
beyond all measure,
Gives unto each day what He deems best.
Lovingly, it’s part of pain and pleasure,
Mingling toil with peace and rest.

3a  幫助我，當我在困難危急，
讓我全心信靠你應許；
讓我享受你安慰的甜蜜，
教導我你神聖的話語。
Help me then, in every tribulation,
so to trust Thy promises, O Lord,
that I lose not faith’s
sweet consolation
offered me within Thy holy Word.

就像慈父的手，
Help me, Lord,
when toil and trouble meeting,
E’er take,
as from a Father’s hand,

One by one, the days,
the moments fleeting,
till I reach the promised land,
