*	主基督，是配得讃美。 哈利路亞！向主歌頌。

Christ, the Lord, is worthy of praise.

**	主，是我信仰根源。 哈利路亞！哈利路亞！ 主，乃是永恆根基！

Christ, the Author of our faith.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Christ, the sure foundation.

1a	教會惟一的根基 是主耶穌基督； 她是主的新創作， 從水與道而出；

The Church's one foundation
Is Jesus Christ the Lord;
She is His new creation,
By water and the Word;

1b	主從天上來尋她 為主聖潔新婦， 捨身流血的代價 堅立永遠基礎。

From heaven He came and sought her
To be His holy bride,
With His own blood He bought her,
And for her life He died.

2a	雖從萬邦選出來， 信徒都成一體， 教會救恩的憑證， 一主一信一洗;

Elect from every nation,
Yet one over all the earth,
Her charter of salvation,
One Lord, one faith, one birth;

2b	同尊唯一的聖名， 同享唯一天糧， 同懷唯一的希望， 同蒙主愛久長。

One holy name she blesses,
Partake one holy food,
And to one hope she presses,
With ever grace endured.

3a	她在爭戰喧聲裡， 勞苦艱難之中， 卻仍深信有平安， 安心靜待成功；

Mid toil and tribulation
And tumult of her war,
She waits the consummation
Of peace forevermore;

3b	直到心眼滿福祉， 得見光榮異象， 到時凱旋的敎會 得享安息無疆。

Till with the vision glorious
Her longing eyes are blest,
And Christ's great Church victorious
Will be the Church at rest.

4a	她雖在地卻聯合真神， 三位一體， 與享安息眾聖徒 奧秘甜蜜團契；

Yet she on earth has union with God,
The Three in One,
And mystic sweet communion
With those whose rest is won;

4b	懇求救主使我們， 能像快楽聖眾， 同樣溫柔又謙虛， 永在主前敬奉。

O happy ones and holy! Lord,
Give us grace that we,
Like them, the meek and lowly,
On high may dwell with Thee.
