1	主裏安睡，何等有福！ 此睡，無人醒來哭泣； 脫離紛擾，進入安舒， 仇敵權勢無法攻擊。

Asleep in Jesus! Blessed sleep!
From which none ever wakes to weep.
A calm and undisturbed repose,
Unbroken by the last of foes.

2	主裏安睡，何等甘甜！ 此睡，無人仍帶苦憂； 信心堅定，唱出美言﹕ 死亡已失它的毒鉤。

Asleep in Jesus! O how sweet
To be for such a slumber meet;
With holy confidence to sing
That death hath lost its painful sting!

3	主裏安睡，何等安息！ 醒來，就是福氣無極； 無懼、無苦再能掩蔽 救主所要彰顯能力。

Asleep in Jesus! Peaceful rest!
Whose waking is supremely blest;
No fear, no woe shall dim that hour
That manifests the Saviour’s pow’r.

4	主裏安睡，何等安穩！ 此避難所安全可靠； 我的塵土安靜在等 主自高天向我呼召

Asleep in Jesus! O for me
May such a blissful refuge be!
Securely shall my ashes lie,
Waiting the summons from on high.

5	主裏安睡，暫時別離， 醒後相聚，倍加欣喜； 主裏安睡，福樂無比！ 此睡，無人醒來哭泣。

Asleep in Jesus! Far from thee
Thy kindred and their graves may be;
But there is still a blessed sleep,
From which none ever wakes to weep.
