Lost and ruined by the fall;
If you tarry till you’re better,

4b	你就永遠不會來； 耶穌釘死，耶穌釘死， 是為罪人贖罪債。

You will never come at all.
Not the righteous,not the righteous,
Sinners Jesus came to call.

5a	請你想起客西馬尼， 救主如何流血汗； 請你聽祂在髑髏地，

View Him prostrate in the garden;
On the ground your Maker lies;
On the bloody tree behold Him;

5b	如何臨死大聲喊； 已經成了，已經成了！ 罪人你今能無感。

Sinner, will this not suffice?
"It is finished!" "It is finished!"

6a	祂的流血，已經滿足， 你神公義的要求， 應當信服，完全信服，

Lo! th’ incarnate God ascended,
Pleads the merit of His blood:
Venture on Him, venture wholly,

6b	罪過就都得免宥； 惟有耶穌，惟有耶穌， 能作罪人的朋友。

Let no other trust intrude.
None but Jesus, none but Jesus,
Can do helpless sinners good.
