1a	我有一位好朋友， 我是非常寶貴； 祂是愛我如此溫柔， 祂愛非常甜美

I have a Friend so precious,
So very dear to me,
He loves me with such tender love,
He loves so faithfully;

1b	我不能活無祂之處， 我愛祂的提握； 所以我們就同住， 我主與我。

I could not live apart from Him,
I love to feel Him nigh,
And so we dwell together,
My Lord and I.

2a	有時我幾乎臥倒， 祂知我的軟弱； 當祂叫我向祂倚靠， 我樂受祂扶托。

Sometimes I’m faint and weary,
He knows that I am weak,
And as He bids me lean on Him,
His help I gladly seek;

2b	祂帶我走光明途徑， 日過光明生活； 所以我們就同行， 我主與我。

He leads me in the paths of light,
Beneath a sunny sky,
And so we walk together,
My Lord and I.

3a	祂知我愛祂幾多， 祂知我愛淺深； 但祂是用何愛愛我， 我永不能說清。

He knows how much I love Him,
He knows I love Him well;
But with what love He loveth me
My tongue can never tell;

3b	乃是一愛永遠不衰， 越過越像熱火； 所以彼此就相愛， 我主與我。

It is an everlasting love
In ever rich supply,
And so we love each other,
My Lord and I.

4a	我告祂以我痛苦， 告祂以我歡喜； 我告祂以我所羨慕， 告祂以我刺激。

I tell Him all my sorrows,
I tell Him all my joys,
I tell Him al that pleases me,
I tell Him what annoys;

4b	祂告我以所當策勵， 告我以所當作； 我們彼此吐心意， 我主與我。

He tells me what I ought to do,
He tells me how to try,
And so we talk together,
My Lord and I.

5a	祂知我心真羨慕 能救一個靈魂， 祂就叫我為祂外出， 去報愛的新聞；

He knows how I am longing
Some weary soul to win,
And so He bids me go and speak
The loving Word for Him;

5b	祂叫我說祂的奇愛， 並祂受死經過； 我們如此常同在， 我主與我。

He bids me tell His wondrous love,
And why He came to die,
And so we work together
My Lord and I.

6a	祂告我以祂國度， 離此並不太遠； 祂心切望能夠儘速 把我帶到那邊。

He tells me of His Kingdom,
It is not far away;
And oh, His heart is longing
To take me there some day.

6b	無終幸福，喜樂在望， 還有榮耀寶座； 不久我們同作王， 我主與我。

Immortal bliss is waiting
And joys that never die:
Soon there we’ll reign together,
My Lord and I.
