1a   前去！我們口號！同聲並同步；
向著標竿直跑，永不回頭顧。
隊前有柱如火，照明我的面；
Forward! Be our watch-word,
Steps and voices joined!
Seek the things before us, not a look behind;
Burns the fiery pillar at our army’s head,

2b   耶和華在領率，誰敢想不前？
前去！經過曠野，痛苦和試探；
約但在此可越，明處是錫安。
Who shall dream of shrinking,
By our Captain led? Forward thro’the desert,
thro’the toil and fight
Canaan lies before us, Zion beams with light.

2a   榮耀又加榮耀，我神已豫備；
凡愛神者必要 有日同在內：
眼睛未曾看見，耳朵未曾聞，
Glories upon glories hath our God prepared,
By the souls that love Him
one day to be shared;
Eye hath not beheld them; ear hath never heard

2b   榮耀達到極點，思想未曾問。
前去！一直前進！直到光明天，
直到幔子不禁，信心變眼見。
Nor of these hath uttered
Thought or speech a word;Forward, ever forward,
Where the heaven is bright;
Till the veil be lifted, till our faith be sight.

3a   遠在前面天涯，有城正昂聳；
那是我們的家，神住的靈宮：
黃金街中四射，寶石牆上閃，
Far o’er yon horizon rise the city towers,
Where our God abideth; that fair home is ours,
Flash the streets with jasper,
Shine the gates with gold

3b   使人喜樂的河 流出喜樂滿。
向彼，前去，向彼，靠聖靈能力；
旅客前去樂地，前去樂無極。
Flows the gladd’ning river, shedding joys untold
Thither, onward thither, in the Spirit’s might,
Pilgrims, to your country, forward into light.
