1a	眾人湧進主的國度， 十架少人負； 眾人爭奪主的賞賜， 世界有誰辭？

Many crowd the Saviour's kingdom,
Few receive His cross;
Many seek His price and honor,
Few would suffer loss.

Counting all but dross,

2a	眾人都慕得主榮耀， 羞辱少人要； 眾人都愛同主掌權， 損失有誰願？

Many long to share His Glory,
Few bear His Shame;

Few bear His loss.

Almost none would for His kingdom
Count their all as dross;

3a	多人都貪享主甘旨， 少有願禁食； 多人都喜登主寶座， 少有願飄泊。

Many sit at Jesus' table,
Few will fast with Him,
When the sorrow cup of anguish
Trembles to the brim.

4a	眾人都想同主高貴， 卑賤卻都畏。 當主凡事為他豫備， 他就大讚美；

Many will confess His wisdom,
Few embrace His shame.
Many, should He smile upon them,
Will His praise proclaim;

They desert His name;

5a	但那誠實愛主的人， 禍福都不問; 就是他們寶貴心血， 也願為主捨。

But the souls who love Him truly,
Let woe come or bliss,
These will count their dearest hearts' blood
Not their own, but His.
