1   主，我曾否叫聖靈憂愁，
流蕩、隨便並冷落？
然而我的犯罪和退後，
未曾叫祂厭倦過。
Oh, have we grieved Thee, gracious Spirit?
Wayward, wanton, cold are we;
And still our sins, and many wand’rings,
Never yet have wearied Thee.

Dear Paraclete! How hast Thou waited
