1	主，接納我們的詩歌， 雖然聲音頂柔弱； 我們述說你的恩篤， 因你是我們救主。

Lord, accept our feeble song!
Pow’r and praise to Thee belong;
We would all Thy grace record,
Holy, gracious, loving Lord!

2	因你捨去榮耀、豐富， 你的信徒纔得福； 你變貧窮，叫你信徒 因你享榮耀、豐富。

Rich in glory, Thou didst stoop,
Thence is all Thy people’s hope;
Thou wast poor, that we might be
Rich in glory, Lord, with Thee.

3	天堂有何使你心厭？ 世界有何使你羡？ 因而你就離天臨世， 孤單、凄涼直到死？

Wherefore Thou high heav’n didst spurn?
Wherefore Thou to earth didst turn?
Why leave heav’n to come to earth
Lonely, scorned, e’en suff’ring death?

4	你在天上何等榮耀！ 你在世上何蕭條！ 你早已知此行艱難， 只因愛我不計算。

Thou in heav’n the Glorious One!
Thou on earth, the Outcast Man!
Though this suff’ring Thou didst know,
Love would come to bear our woe.

5	當我想到你的良善， 就不禁又喜又慚！ 喜，因你能這樣愛好； 慚，因我這樣還報。

When we think of love like this,
Joy and shame our hearts possess;
Joy, that Thou couldst pity thus;
Shame, for such returns from

6	但我們望那日快到， 脫盡所有的阻撓； 那時我們進榮耀裏， 要照本分服事你。

Yet we hope the day to see
When from ev’ry hindrance free,
When to Thee, in glory, brought,
We shall serve Thee as we ought.

7	現今我們等在這裏， 因這盼望受策勵； 主，使我們活著為你， 直到天上同聚集。

Now, O Lord, we wait for Thee,
Wait “the blessed hope” to see.
May we ever for Thee live,
Till Thy church Thou dost receive.
