不能朽，不能見，獨一的真神

Hymn 014-1

1	不能朽，不能見，獨一的真神， 住在不可迫視的光輝之境； 最可頌，最榮耀，亙古永長存， 又全能，又全勝，讚美主大名。

Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes,
Most blessed, most glorious,
the Ancient of Days,
Almighty, victorious, Thy great name we praise.

Hymn 014-2

2	不止息，不焦急，如光無聲息、 無缺乏，無耗損，掌權以能力； 祢判斷憑公義如高山巍立， 祢施恩又施愛如靉雲普及。

Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light,
Nor wanting, nor wasting, Thou rulest in might;
Thy justice like mountains high soaring above
Thy clouds,
which are fountains of goodness and love.

Hymn 014-3

3	賜生命與氣息予大小生靈， 活在萬有中，惟祢是真生命； 我們有如花草，今朝雖茂盛； 明朝即枯殘，惟祢永不變更。

To all, life Thou givest, to both great and small,
In all life Thou livest, the true life of all.
We blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree,
And wither and perish –
but naught changeth thee.

4	榮耀之父四射純潔的光輝， 寶座前，天使無不掩面侍立； 我們向祢讚美，使我們領會 祗是神聖光華今將祢隱蔽。

Great Father of glory, pure Father of light,
Thine angels adore thee, All veiling their sight;
All praise we would render; O help us to see
’Tis only splendor of light hideth Thee!
